We are currently hiring for a Quality Technician in the WEST METRO! In this role, the Quality Technician will be ensuring the received and assembled components are in conformance with design records and applicable standards.
1st Shift: Monday - Friday; Flexible - 6:00am/7:00am/8:00am - 2:30pm/3:30pm/4:30pm
Duties:
- Inspection of components (weldments, off the shelf electronic components, custom assemblies, fabricated metals and plastic parts)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints (dimensions, symbols, notes)
- Using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure
- Utilizing ERP systems
- Processing of non-conformance materials and simple investigations to determine which department it goes to for resolution
- Processing and quality checking incoming raw materials and first article parts
Qualifications:
- 1+ Years of Quality Technician Experience required
- Reading and interpreting prints and using measurement equipment
- Experience using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM
- Using MRP systems
