Position Overview: The Kitchen Manager will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent culinary skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the kitchen team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure the consistent execution of menu items to meet quality standards and guest expectations.
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels, implementing strategies to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff.
  • Handle kitchen-related inquiries, concerns, and feedback from guests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continually seeking opportunities for improvement in kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a culinary leadership role is required.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of team building and staff development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it.
