Our client is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator. This position facilitates communication between production, sales and distributions stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain. This position is temp to perm, hybrid schedule (onsite Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, remote on Wednesday & Friday), 8:30am to 5pm. $18-$19/hr.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Goods arriving to our warehouse or 3pl:
• Submit ISF to broker 24 to 48 hours before container sails.
• Review factory documents to confirm what was posted into the system through Iready is correct.
• Update shipment date and transit time so ETA is accurate and post container into transit.
• If T/T terms are sent to A/P payment approval for vendor invoice.
• Follow up with the factory to ensure they have submitted documents to the bank or sent them directly to us so we have OBL to send forward so we can have freight released once the container arrives at the port.
• Track the container on the water to ensure there are no delays.
• Ensure we have arrival notice five days prior to the arrival date of the container.
• Send all customs docs to a broker to ensure customs are cleared at the time of container arrival.
• Send A/P approval for payment for freight.
• Ensure the trucking company has to DO, and it is on their container list.
• Follow up to make sure the container is picked up before LFD.
• Once the warehouse receives the container, review the report, process the extras and negatives, and close the container.
• Put final package for A/P, ensuring all totals add up, and send charge back to factory if needed for shortages.

POE shipments:
• Submit ISF to broker 24 to 48 hours before container sails.
• Post shipment against drop-ship order in Nav.
• If T/T terms are sent to A/P payment approval for vendor invoice.
• Follow up with the factory to ensure they have submitted documents to the bank or sent them directly to us so we have OBL to send forward so we can release freight once the container arrives at the port.
• Track the container on the water to ensure there are no delays.
• Ensure we have arrival notice five days before the arrival date of the container.
• Send all customs docs to a broker to ensure customs are cleared at the time of container arrival. (The cover letter is different by the customer since they all follow different rules for container pick up).
• Send A/P approval for payment for freight.
• Ensure the trucking company has DO and route orders through the customer system or required forms.
• Follow up to ensure the container is picked up before LFD.
• Obtain POD and provide customer service for final invoicing.
• Put final package for A/P, ensuring all totals add up, and send charge back to factory if needed for shortages.

DI shipments:
• Check shipping documents sent by the vendor.
• Prepare shipping documents for the customer in their format and send them to the nominated forwarder or upload them to the forwarders portal. (Invoice – should have the customer price’s cost & correct payment terms)
• Follow up with the vendor for a copy of the FCR (freight cargo receipt)
• Post shipment against drop-ship order in Nav.
• Invoice out customer in Nav.
• If vendor’s T/T terms are sent to A/P payment approval for vendor invoice.
• Put final package for A/P, ensuring all totals are correct.

Other Daily Activities:
• Distribution of Containers to various warehouses
• Create Packing Slips
• Close Containers
• Maintain Log
o (Arrival Notice Received/Payment Request Sent
Delivery Order Submitted)

QUALIFICATIONS
• intermediate Excel Level.
• Ability to create concise written communications.
• Ability to focus well in a fast-paced environment.
• Great organizational and follow-up skills.

This is a temp to perm position. M-F from 8:30am to 5:00pm
$18-$20/hr.
