Length of Assignment: approximately 6 months
Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Rate: $30-35, willing to negotiate based on experience
Parking: Street parking on Iwaiwa
Position Summary:
Responsible for performing all functions related to talent acquisition and promoting the employment brand. Uses independent judgement in sourcing, screening, assessing and recommending qualified talent for the organization. Plans, executes, and measures recruitment strategies. Provides organization wide customer service and general consultative support in all areas of talent acquisition in support of the Company’s strategy.
Position Details:
- Performs full life-cycle talent acquisition and recruitment functions for the organization.
- Facilitates the onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university. (Associates degree plus two (2) years of Human Resources work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree. High school diploma plus four (4) years of Human Resources work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree).
- At least three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, with one (1) year recent experience in recruitment.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Demonstrated knowledge in employment law and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Preferred:
- Bachelor''s degree from a recognized college or university in Human Resources Management.
- Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) experience with PeopleSoft.
- Healthcare experience.
Skills:
- Detail-oriented
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint (emailing, creating letters, formatting data, using tables, inserting objects.)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of general office equipment such as copiers, facsimile machines, etc.
- Ability to set priorities, assess/problem solve and make independent decisions with minimal supervision.

- TB Clearance Documentation (one of the options below):
- Two-step tuberculin skin test done within the past 3 months. A two-step tuberculin skin test consists of an initial negative (<10 mm in transverse diameter) tuberculin skin test followed by a second tuberculin skin test placed 1-3 weeks later and read as negative.
- OR two-step tuberculin skin test done in the past AND one (1) negative tuberculin skin test within the past three (3) months.
- OR one (1) negative tuberculin test done within the past twelve (12) months AND one (1) negative tuberculin skin test within the past three (3) months.
- OR Negative TB Blood Test within the past three (3) months, such as QuantiFERON Gold
- OR If there is a history of a positive tuberculin skin test, a negative chest x-ray (PA) done within the past twelve (12) months
