Responsibilities of Medical Assistant:  

• Taking vitals
• Rooming patients
• Making referrals to appropriate departments or agencies
• Handling prescriptions/correspondence with pharmacies
• Ensuring patient summary of care paperwork is completed by end of day

Requirements of Medical Assistant:

• Completed Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or similar program
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
• Temporary position expected to last 3 months with an opportunity of long-term
