Schedule: Monday – Friday, First Shift

Pay: $17.00 - 20.00hr

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Material Handler. The Material Handler will be responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and products within the warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments against packing slips or other documents.
• Unload materials from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Inspect received materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Label, tag, and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Retrieve and deliver materials to production areas or other designated locations as needed.
• Prepare materials for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging items according to shipping instructions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and data entry into inventory management systems.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
•  Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
