Hours: Friday through Sunday 4:30am-5:30pm

Monday through Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

The Weekend Lead position is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the paint line during weekend shifts. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of the paint line processes while leading a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Directly oversee the weekend shift operations of the paint line, including assigning tasks, scheduling breaks, and managing personnel effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that products passing through the paint line meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving the overall workflow of the paint line.
• Training and Development: Train new employees on paint line procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
• Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels and related materials for uninterrupted production.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct safety meetings, and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines at all times
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and any incidents occurring during the shift. Prepare reports as required by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role within a paint line or similar production setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and a proactive approach to addressing challenges on the production line.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform tasks in a physically demanding environment.
