Shipping and Receiving Lead

Located in Walker, MI

Salary: $20-$25/hour

Shipping and Receiving Lead Job Summary:

 

A family-owned sheet metal fabrication company in Grand Rapids is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to join their growing team. Shipping and Receiving Lead Responsibilities:

• Managing vendor and customer relationships
• Coordinating truck schedules
• Managing Shipping and Receiving schedules
• Tracking incoming orders from vendors and outgoing orders to customers
• Checking parts in and out via tracking software
• Coordinating the overall flow of Shipping and Receiving and the fabrication areas
• Material handling as needed
• Machine operation as needed

Schedule:  7am-3pm Monday through Friday.

Pay: $20-$25/hour

 

Shipping and Receiving Lead Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Relevant experience is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
