Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a General Labor Truss Builder. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and assembly of trusses used in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the construction of trusses according to blueprints and specifications.
2. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
3. Measure and cut lumber and other materials to required dimensions.
4. Assemble truss components accurately and securely.
5. Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the construction process.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
8. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within established timelines.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in construction or carpentry preferred but not required.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
4. Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
7. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
9. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Extended periods of standing, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
