Express has two shift openings for a tube bundler/assembler in a fabrication shop. We have a night shift available, and also a weekend day shift. Currently they are working (7) 12s, but normal shift would be 6PM-6AM on the night shift M-F; the weekend day shift is still 5-6 days per week, but the normal shift always include Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM, and days off would always be during the week.

As a Heat Exchanger Tube Assembler, your main responsibility is to assemble heat exchanger tubes according to specifications and industry standards. Your duties may include:

1. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to understand assembly requirements.
2. Selecting appropriate materials, such as tubes, fittings, and fasteners, based on specifications provided.
3. Cutting tubes to required lengths using tube cutters or saws.
4. Fitting and positioning tubes and components together according to assembly instructions and layouts.
5. Installing fittings, gaskets, and other components onto tubes as required.
6. Securing tubes and components using fasteners, bolts, nuts, or clamps.
7. Conducting visual inspections to ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of assembled components.
8. Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
9. Maintaining tools, equipment, and work area cleanliness.
10. Collaborating with other team members, such as engineers and quality control inspectors, to ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
4. Knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment used in mechanical assembly.
5. Ability to follow assembly instructions and layouts accurately.
6. Strong attention to detail and quality.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Effective communication skills.
9. Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
