Salary: $20-25

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, or equipment for the business and keeping all inventory, consumables, etc.

·       Negotiating deals with suppliers, researching possible item selections taking inventory of current products

·       Keeping critical supplies stocked.

·       Selects products and negotiates buying terms with vendors, including price margin, and delivery terms

·       Ownership of all purchasing and logistics functions, processes, and outside processes

·       Develop new vendors when viable and engage existing vendors for competitive quoting

·       Manage supplier evaluations and provide supplier scorecards periodically

·       Manage the approved supplier list in the supplier database

·       Working within the management team to ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back-ordered or missing parts

·       Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate

·       Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly selling reports to analyze performance and make improvements

·       Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities

 

Requirements:

·       Must have at least 5 years of experience as a buyer/Office manager

·       Working in a fabrication and manufacturing setting

·       Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers

·       Negotiation skills to work with suppliers to make better deals for the company

·       An understanding of purchase order software platforms

·       Attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate

·       Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to work with a team as well as independently

·       Learns new skills quickly

·       Understands retail math and has strong analytical skills

Pay: $20-25/HR (DOE)

Schedule: Mon-Fri/7AM-3:30PM
