Required Skills/Experience

Read and Follow Instructions
Stable Work History
Able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop and twist environment.
Load/Unload Trailers 
Must hold CDL - Class A or B License with good driving record
Great attendance and punctuality
Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures 

Duties:

 1. **Loading and Unloading:**

   - Safely load goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement to prevent shifting during transit.

   - Utilize appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, to assist with loading and unloading heavy or oversized items.

   - Verify the accuracy of the load against delivery documents and address any discrepancies before departure.

 2. **Vehicle Inspection:**

   - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure that it is in safe operating condition.

   - Check all fluid levels, tires, brakes, lights, and other essential components to comply with safety regulations.

 3. **Route Planning:**

   - Review delivery schedules and route assignments to plan the most efficient and timely delivery routes.

   - Familiarize oneself with local roads, traffic patterns, and potential obstacles to minimize delivery delays and ensure on-time arrivals.

 4. **Driving:**

   - Operate the delivery vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.

   - Maintain a clean driving record and promptly report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to management.

 5. **Communication:**

   - Maintain open communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues or concerns promptly.

   - Report any delays, route changes, or issues encountered during delivery to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
