Job Title: Landscaping/Hardscaping Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping/Hardscaping Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping and hardscaping, with expertise in mulch, soil, drainage, and fence installation. This position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish, as effective communication with clients and team members is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing landscaping and hardscaping projects efficiently and with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform landscaping and hardscaping tasks including planting, mulching, sodding, and installing irrigation systems.
2. Install and repair fences, ensuring they meet client specifications and quality standards.
3. Assess drainage issues and implement solutions to improve water management on client properties.
4. Work with various tools and equipment such as shovels, rakes, tractors, and power tools to complete projects.
5. Operate machinery such as skid-steers and excavators for grading and excavation purposes.
6. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing recommendations as necessary.
7. Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in landscaping and hardscaping, with demonstrated proficiency in mulch, soil, drainage, and fence installation.
2. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and implement effective solutions.
5. Ability to operate landscaping machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
6. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and operating heavy equipment.
7. Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
8. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation: Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Competitive compensation package including hourly rate, with opportunities for overtime pay. Benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off may be available.
