The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a building material supplier in Indianapolis to hire an Accounting Manager.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing or performing all accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have an accounting education, excellent communication skills, computer skills, and 3+ years of experience in accounting and office management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions for a smooth accounting operation.
• Must learn all functions of the accounting department to assist and cover when necessary.
• Bank reconciliation
• Payroll and HR using ADP Workforce Now
• All general ledger processes including account reconciliation, journal entries, and monthly financial statements.
• Record assets and maintain required insurance and licensing.
• File monthly sales tax for 4 states
• Credit approval for customer accounts

Accounting Manager Pay/Benefits:

• $70-80K

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, in-person

Required qualifications:

• Experience with accounting practices, Word, Excel, and accounting data entry-Sage 100 is preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Detail oriented, accurate, and thorough
• Excellent attendance and promptness
