Position: PT Lifeguard 

 

Pay: Starting at $18/hr 

 

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a private, non-profit, community-based social service agency in Honolulu. We are seeking a qualified PT Lifeguard to assist the recreation division in the community, and organizing pool centered events.

Job Duties:

• Perform Lifeguard duties during Pool hours
• Test and record pools chlorine and pH levels daily
• Lock and secure all pool equipment
• Maintain log of users at the pool

Requirements:

• Proof of YMCA Lifeguard Training class/American Red Cross completion
• High school Diploma
• 1 year minimum working with at risk youths and adults in sport/recreational programs
• Preferred
  • Bachelors Degree or extensive experience in sports related field
  • Experience with community outreach and public speaking

Additional Requirements:

• Current Lifeguard with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid Certification
• Valid Hawaii’s Driver License
• Access to car and Auto insurance
• Criminal Background clearance
