Pay: Up to $60k

 

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Recreation Administrator to oversee sports programs such as swimming, volleyball, pickleball and senior programs. You will be working with other sport coaches and Recreation attendants.

Job Duties:

• Coordinate transportation of participants (as needed)
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to Executive Director
• Network with other association, communities, and schools to develop partnerships

 

Skills:

• Knowledge of sports, equipment, and facility safety
• Background in sports as a player/coach (basketball/football/volleyball/aquatics)
• Ability to carry 40 lbs. and climb stairs often

 

Preferred Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation/physical education/human services/related field from an accredited college/university Preferred: Master’s degree
• 1-3 years of experience as a teacher/coach of recreational programs with youths and young adults from diverse backgrounds Preferred experience: public speaking & minimum of 1 year in managing a major recreation/sport department in a community setting

 

Additional Requirements:

• Current CPA/First Aid
• Valid Hawaii Driver License
• Proof of Auto Insurance (Access to registered and insured automobile)
• Criminal Background clearance
