Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Cabinet Maker to join our client’s industry leading team in Dartmouth. Our client specializes in retail construction and offers in-house design and custom millwork. Extensive experience in constructing and installing custom millwork is essential for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

• Construct and install various custom millwork items such as cabinets, reception desks, display cases etc.
• Operate and maintain cabinet making tools and equipment such as a table saw, chop saw, band saw, routers, trimmers, sanders, pneumatic air staplers/nailers, glue spray equipment, drill planes, edge banders, CNC, chisels, and files etc.

 

Requirements:

·         4-5 years’ experience of millwork, cabinet making and installation

·         Ability to work independently from plans, drawings, and sketch plans to specifications.

·         Knowledge of millwork hand and power tools

·         Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

·         Knowledge of workplace safety and save lifting and handling procedures

·         Client service and public interaction skills

·         Team building

·         Effective verbal and listening communication skills

·         Ability to read building specifications, blueprints, and as-builts

·         The ability to lift, pull and manage sheets of plywood, cabinets and millwork

·         Valid driver’s license and clean abstract

 

Our client Offers:

·         Full-time permanent role

·         Pay is $20-$28 per hour based on relevant experience

·         Monday to Friday schedule 7am-4pm
