OVERVIEW: We are seeking a task oriented and professional Construction Estimator for our client company in Portland. This position is a long term direct hire role. The company is a leading multi-family contractor specializing in building envelope repair, siding restoration, and structural damage repair due to water intrusion and dry rot.

 

DUTIES:

• Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients, leveraging established sales techniques to advise and sell the most suitable solution.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare estimates for various projects, including roofing replacement, siding replacement, painting, deck and traffic coatings, and structural restoration.
• Collaborate with the project team to gather all necessary information for bidding, including specifications, drawings, and historical data
• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and negotiate pricing.

 

PAY: $60,000-100,000/Year DOE

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on multi-family and commercial projects 
• Experience preparing and organizing submittals for construction consultants 
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
