General Maintenance

Located in Leominster, MA

Salary: $20.00- $23.00/ hr.

We are currently recruiting for a General Maintenance Worker position for our client, a manufacturer in Leominster, MA. The primary responsibilities for this role will using skill sets in carpentry to repair, light plumbing tasks, forklift maintenance & light repair. In addition, you will learn hands-on troubleshooting and repair techniques for the machines.

 

 

 Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain industrial machinery
• Keep up maintenance on plant building, equipment and grounds
• Test out machinery
• Complete necessary maintenance paperwork and reports
• Maintain building up keeping

 Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. 
• Able to operate rider type industrial forklift to pick up, move and position all kinds of materials
• Hands on mechanical skills a plus

Training will include: tool safety, carpentry skills, light plumbing tasks, forklift operations and various welding techniques

 

Schedule:11-hour shift, 6 am-4 pm Monday -Friday, and some half-day Saturday mornings, occasionally 

 

Pay:$20/hr
