1st Shift - Forklift Operator

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $16.50 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Forklift Operator position with a Local Masonry Distributor located in Clarksville TN. This position will pay $16.50 per hour Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate Lift Driver- Double and Single (Hyster 120)
• Load and unload pallets of concrete pavers, retaining wall and other accessories onto flatbed trucks, step deck trucks, Conestoga's and occasionally box vans
• Load customers with product from retail store
• Stack blocks weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Wrap pallets
• Pull orders
• General Housekeeping
• Complete Inventory count checks
• Complete Forklift check sheets
• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Complies with all IP’s Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times including wearing metatarsals.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have 2 + years experience
• Must know how to drive a forklift
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of repetitive physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
