Job Summary: Responsible for creation of design and detailed fabrication documents such as drawings and fabrication procedures. Collaborates with engineering team and supporting the production floor in the fabrication and assembly of equipment when required. 

Job Duties:

• Uses Company supplied software, tools, and guides to create a complete design package of drawings including the general arrangement, bill of materials, and detail fabrication.
• Continuously maintains the quality of the design and documentation by validating each design phase with other engineering team members. 
• Communicates with production management as needed to review fabrication capabilities, translate/explain fabrication concept and or change to standards, etc. 
• As required, oversees the accuracy of fabrication, assembly, and final testing. 
• Maintains the schedule set for drawing generation and other engineering required functions. 
• Maintains, updates, makes additions, and corrections to all equipment manuals and data documentation per company's standards.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information processed.

Requirements:

• Familiar with quality control monitoring and processes.
• Experienced with drafting software (CAD, Solidworks, etc.)
• Must be proficient with Word, Excel
• Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively.
• Associates degree in Engineering, Bachelors preferred
• Experience in metal fabrication and industrial equipment manufacturing
