Direct Hire - Shipping Specialist

Located in Lincoln, NE

Salary: Up to $25/hr

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local Lincoln company to recruit a Shipping Specialist. This is a day-shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with pay up to $25/hr and the opportunity to turn into a long-term career!

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, and palletizing orders in preparation for international or domestic shipment
• Creation of packing lists, shipping labels, and other documentation for outgoing shipments
• Assist inventory department as needed – may include stocking, counting, and organizing products
• Utilize proper PPE in accordance with company standards and policies
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or order picking role required
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred
• Must be proficient working with computer systems and warehouse management systems
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Organized with an eye for detail

Schedule/Pay:

• Monday through Friday, day shift
• Pay up to $25/hr
• Employees paid weekly!
