We are currently seeking an experienced Junior MECHANICAL DRAFTER Experienced with Inventor, SolidWorks and AutoCAD

First Shift. On-Site position in North Clearwater

$24.00-28.00/HR (B.O.E.) with a Contract to permanent opportunity.

 

Create production documentation for customer specific orders.  Prepare detailed working diagrams of parts and assemblies, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned as needed:

Produce drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers

Update new part descriptions and bill of materials entries in Macola

Work with development and design engineer on specific projects

Work with production floor on bill of materials and drawings

Add details to drawings from their knowledge of UL standards and regulations

Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree in drafting, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with Inventor, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Excellent working knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication activities.

Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software.

Ability to work alone and with minimum supervision.

Knowledgeable with the current UL standards and regulations considered a plus

Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities

 

Work Environment:

 

This is not a remote position.

Quiet to moderate noise in an office environment

Some interaction on the production floor

 

 

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE) Temp to Perm position (EOE)
