Salary: $18/hr

Mechanical Assembler – $18 per hour

 

Express Employment Professionals of Lakeland is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find great people. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a client in Lakeland, FL.

Responsibilities:

Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:

• Cutting and Crimping Hydraulic Hoses according to specified lengths.
• Installing cylinders, motors, gauges, filters, hydraulic hoses, pumps, and various
• hydraulic valves onto road construction sweeper attachments and tractors
• Installing fabricated metal components such as hydraulic tanks, frames, air stacks, and
• mounts onto various tractors
• Using various tools such as, drills, hand tools, hand grinders, tape measures
• Must be able to read hydraulic diagrams
• Must meet daily and weekly production goals
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions
• Additional requirements when identified as needed

Qualifications: 

• Maintain a clean work area. Equipment and tools must be kept in a clean and organized
• manner
• Must fully understand and adhere to maintenance, safety, and quality processes and
• procedures
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Must possess quality communication skills and work well with a team
• Willingness to learn new tasks.
• Must be able to maintain a good attendance record
• Must be looking for Permanent Employment
• Must be able to lift 40-60lbs
• Work Experience in a manufacturing shop environment is preferred
• Knowledge of diesel engines is a plus
• Ability to read hydraulic diagrams
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Must be detail orientated and self motivated

 

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
