Construction Worker Responsibilities:

• Assist tradesmen and machine operators in construction projects, working together to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Erect and break up scaffolding, ramps, and other structures, paying close attention to safety protocols and procedures.
• Unload and carry materials at construction sites, ensuring they are transported and stored safely and securely.
• Use equipment to break old forms and structures, following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
• Use explosives to demolish structures according to instructions, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the worksite.
• Prepare and apply construction materials such as cement, helping to build structures and fill gaps as needed.
• Smooth and level new concrete or other materials, ensuring a high-quality finish and appearance.
• Clean out the site from debris and discarded material, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Place traffic signals where appropriate, ensuring the safety of workers and the public during construction activities.
