Salary: $18-$20 DOE

We are looking for a qualified individual for the Quote Coordinator role. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, organized, and has CNC machine setup experience.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Analyze blueprints to prepare cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.
• Ability to identify missing information needed for estimates and effectively communicate that to the appropriate personnel.
• Make proper cost estimations, taking into consideration such factors as materials, speeds, type of cutters, feeds, and control system limitations.
• Communicate with customers regarding status of quotations and/or following-up on submitted quotations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a machine shop environment.
• Must possess an understanding of machining practices, formulas, and machine tool capabilities, especially regarding maintaining appropriate tolerances, using manual and CNC tools.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, and solid models.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to function independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
