CNC Project Manager

Job Description:

Job Purpose: Manage CNC projects and assist the Project Manager in creating shop drawings based on scenic designs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage CNC projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee CNC programming, machine setup, and operation.
• Develop and render shop drawings using AutoCAD, RHINO, or SketchUp.
• Coordinate with the scenic coordinator and technical direction staff.
• Manage material lists and ensure quality control.
• Communicate project updates with clients and the Director of Production.
• Train and supervise CNC technicians and operators.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Theatre, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, RHINO, and SketchUp.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical theatre preferred.
• Punctual, comfortable working with core employees, willing to work sporadic evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
