Logistics Coordinator - $20.00/hr

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator position for one of our Fortune 500 Novi, MI based clients. This position is full-time, temp-to-hire for a Logistics Company.

3rd Shift is Monday to Friday 10:00 pm to 7:00 am

Logistics Coordinator Job Duties:

• Coordinating the Movement of Freight from start to finish
• All ground shipments, as well as US Domestic shipments
• Setting up loads with fleet drivers as well as brokering out to other carriers
• Tracking and tracing freight over the road through multiple methods
• Updating customers through a web-based program as well as directly call customers
• Dealing with issues that come up over the routes (i.e. driver breakdowns) and coordinating solutions
• Creating reports for customers in regards to the shipments

Logistics Coordinator Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• At least 1-2 years of Logistics, Dispatch, Sales Support, or Supply Chain Experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Ability to Multi-task on the Job
• Have a Sense of Urgency
• Great Customer Service Skills
