Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of thermal solutions and fluid systems for vehicle manufacturers worldwide? We're seeking a Process Technician to join our growing team in New Baltimore, MI, on 3^rd shift.

 

Position Summary:

As a Process Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting production to achieve quality and productivity goals. You'll be responsible for monitoring, adjusting, and controlling the injection molding process to ensure optimal performance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain injection molding process set up sheets and machine calibration program.
• Troubleshoot mold tooling and machine issues.
• Conduct part quality checks and maintain proper documentation.
• Follow standard procedures on control plans and QRQC sheets.
• Perform mold tool cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Communicate part, tooling, press, or material issues with leaders and supervisors.
• Pack and label parts as required.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the shift supervisor.

 

Skill Requirements:

• Technical understanding of injection molding process.
• Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work any shifts, weekends, and overtime on short notice.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of injection molding process optimization (Systematic Injection Molding).
• Associate degree in technology preferred but not mandatory with qualified experience.
• Experience in injection mold tool repair is a plus.

 

Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required.
