Maintenance Helper– East Baton Rouge Parish

Full Time – Evaluation Hire

$15/hr + DOE

Monday – Friday, 7am- 4pm

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for Maintenance Helper for a Baton Rouge mechanical seal company that provides repair services on all types of seals.  They manufacture and repair sealing pumps, mixers, compressors, centrifuges, and other pieces of rotating equipment.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Maintenance Helper :  

• Emptying the shop trash cans containing scrap metal.
• Carpentry work that requires cutting wood and then assembling pallets and boxes. 
• Daily maintenance task such as replacing light bulbs.
• assisting the maintenance manager with repair task on equipment throughout the facility. 
• Assisting the shop foreman with task in the machine shop. 
• Maintain a clean working area in the maintenance area. 

 

Skills and Experience REQUIRED:

• Must be on time every day and work 40-hour weeks. 
• Must have the ability to follow instructions. 
• Good Organization skills with the ability to multi-task when necessary.
