Hours:

Monday-Wednesday 8am-4pm

 OFF THURSDAY

Friday 8am-4pm

Saturday 8am-3pm

Pay: $17-$19/HR

Duties:

• Provide exceptional service to customers bringing in scrap metal, assisting with inquiries, and offering guidance.
• Accurately weigh and evaluate scrap metal, process payments efficiently.
• Operate scale for vehicle weighing, ensuring precise measurements.
• Quote prices for vehicles, check VIN for liens, complete necessary paperwork.
•  Maintain clean office environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
• Aid customers in finding needed used car parts, offering recommendations.
• Handle transactions accurately via cash register system.
• Monitor inventory, restock shelves, and organize parts counter area.
• Locate requested parts in the yard using company vehicle, noting availability and condition.

Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive or scrap metal industry preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
