Job Title: Human Resources Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an HR Technician. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Section Manager, you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and employee record maintenance. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department. 

 

Full Time Non Exempt : $24.00-$28.00/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

·        Draft and post job announcements for open positions.

·        Coordinate with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions.

·        Assist in screening applications and communicating with candidates.

·        Prepare interview materials and schedule candidate screenings.

·        Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment physicals.

·        Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.

·        Input and maintain employee records in our HRIS system (BambooHR).

·        Process payroll changes and manage benefits administration.

·        Compile data for payroll processing and reporting.

·        Assist with audits and reports.

·        Coordinate staff training registration and payment.

·        Order necessary supplies for the HR department.

·        Assist with Advisory Board preparations and meetings.

·        Process bank deposits and maintain records.

·        Handle refunds and corrections in our software systems.

Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent; HR certifications preferred.

·        Two years of experience in HR administration or a related field.

·        Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

·        Proficiency in HRIS systems, especially BambooHR.

·        Knowledge of payroll processes and reporting.

·        Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., COMPASS/SAP).

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·        Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

·        Effective problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to work well in a team environment and establish positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

·        Proficiency in using office equipment.
