Perkins Technician

Located in Holdenville, OK

Job Duties:

Candidates interested in the Technician position will be responsible for the following duties:

-providing daily caregiving needs within assigned facility

-feeding animals

-breeding animals

-processing and sorting animals

-keeping and recording accurate data

-following all safety protocols

-maintaining all health requirements

-other duties assigned by facility manager

 

Qualifications:

Candidates interested in the Technician position must be able to:

-start their workday as early as 6 am and work shift with no interruptions

-repeatedly lift 50 lbs without assistance

-perform repetitive motions

-bend and stoop repeatedly

-stand and walk for prolonged periods of time on concrete

-push/pull animal carts without any assistance repeatedly

-climb feed bins (under 4 ft) to check feed levels

-move and sort animals using a sorting board

-use high pressure wands for cleaning and sanitation

 

Working conditions:

Candidates assigned to the Technician position will work:

-inside/outside

-on wet concrete floors

-in hot/cold temperatures

-in high humidity

-in animal/feed dust
