Metal Shop Fabricator

A local Springfield company is seeking a Fabricator to perform, and/or instruct fabrication and forging skills of steel and other metals. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience manipulating metal.
Responsibilities:
- Construction or repair of all metal structures including gates, railings, furniture, and light fixtures (both interior and exterior) as well as rough and finish decorative metal work
- Construction of jigs, dies, and tooling to facilitate completion of projects
- Provide inventory status, and make regular recommendations for required parts and supplies
- Order parts, and supplies when necessary
- Provide design, and engineering suggestions to facilitate completion of projects
- Keep supervisor promptly, and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance to prompt corrective action can be taken when appropriate
- Other duties as assigned.
Full Time Evaluation Hire Position
$20.00/hour
M-F 6:00 am 4:30 pm
