We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment for the production of high-quality spikes for the railroad industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, possess expertise in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and reliability.

 

Pay: $28/hr.

Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery and equipment, including but not limited to forging, cutting, and finishing machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to detect potential problems and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems to restore equipment to optimal operating condition.
• Calibrate and adjust machinery settings to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in production processes.
• Collaborate with production personnel to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime during production runs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment history.

 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
