Salary: $28.00 to $30.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals, Irvine is seeking a Cost Estimator for an electrical contractor in the Irvine, CA area. Our client has a sterling reputation and works with some of the most recognized home builders and property owners in Orange County. This is a permanent, full-time, direct hire career opportunity. Starting compensation is $28.00 to $30.00/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit requests for quotes on residential electrical projects
• Manage relationships with customers, prospects and internal departments
• Project troubleshooting
• General support for purchasing department

 

Qualifications:

• At least one year of construction industry estimating experience (electrical preferred)
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Bilingual Spanish
• Must have general knowledge of residential electrical contracting
• Self-motivated and career oriented
• Positive, upbeat personality
• Bachelors degree, trade school accreditation or offsetting experience
