Salary: $135,000 - $185,000
We are currently recruiting for a Investor Relations and Reporting Specialist on behalf of a preferred client within Sarnia Lambton. This position provides the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week, with the requirement to report to the clients work location on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
To be successful in the role:
- Prepare and review consolidated annual and quarterly earnings reports and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) disclosures in accordance with IFRS
- Draft quarterly conference call script and manage supporting materials
- Collect peer and analyst data and summarize key highlights
- Manage and improve impairment analysis workbook
- Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews by external auditors
- Research technical accounting topics and assist in driving implementation
- Perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities in support of a team effort to ensure deadlines are met
- Assist or lead business process improvement projects required by the Finance Department, as needed.
Qualifications include:
- University graduate with 8+ years related experience
- Big four accounting firm external audit experience preferred
- Professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills supported by exposure to accounting and finance
- Excellent organization, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible and open to the role changing as business needs and priorities change
- Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities
Wage: $135,000 - $185,000/Year
