Shipping Coordinator

Located in Honolulu, HI

Salary: $23/hr

Position: Shipping Coordinator

Schedule: Mon – Fri (7:30am – 4:30pm)

Location: Pearl City

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Shipping Coordinator for a locally owned and operated moving company with over 50 years of experience, in moving families and businesses globally and domestically.

Benefits:

· After 1 year, PTO 10 days

· After 3 years, PTO increases to 15 days

· Federal Holidays = 11/annual

Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate Military Shipments

· Monitor, track, and trace inbound containers and prepare documentation for pier pickups.

· Coordinate the pickup of cargo.

· Collaborate with ocean transportation and TSPs to address container delays, payments, and customs/agriculture holds.

· Coordinate the release of cargo with other agents, airlines, or shipping lines.

Skills/Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of office experience

o Prior experience in the moving industry (preferred)

· High school diploma or GED

o College classes in accounting/business (preferred)

· Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, capable of handling challenging situations
