FlexoPress Operator

Salary: $20.00/hour
Are you a skilled Flexopress Operator with experience on Mark Andy presses? Do you have expertise in water-based and UV inks, along with a keen eye for detail? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
$20.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the press for printing jobs, including adjusting settings and loading materials.
- Operate the Mark Andy press efficiently and effectively to meet production goals.
- Monitor printing process and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Mix inks according to specifications and ensure accurate color matching.
- Mount plates, slit materials, and perform other tasks necessary for the printing process.
- Feed rolls into the press and ensures proper alignment and tension.
- Pull and return materials as needed, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a Flexopress, preferably with Mark Andy press experience.
- Knowledge of water-based and UV inks and experience in ink mixing and color matching.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues during printing.
- Experience in label printing and familiarity with label production processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members when needed.
