Senior Soldering Technician - 1st Shift

Located in Longmont, CO

Salary: $24-$28/hr

A well-established local electronics manufacturer is seeking an experienced Soldering Technician to support their team with soldering of circuit boards and electronic devices. You could soon work for a leading electronics manufacturer who has provided electronic solutions for brand name companies from locations across the United States for 40 plus years!

As Soldering Technician, you would be:  

• Primary component type soldering of fine pitch parts, bottom terminated components, thru-hole devices, jumper wires and advanced rework on electronic assemblies.
• Melt and apply solder along adjoining edges of work pieces to solder joints using a soldering iron.
• Clean/polish work pieces and tip of soldering iron using chemical solution, file, or wire brush.
• Apply flux to work piece surfaces in preparation for soldering.
• Heat soldering iron or work piece to specified temperature for soldering, using electric current.

 

You may qualify for the Soldering Technician position if you: 

• Must have 5-7+ years of soldering experience.
• Must have knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001
• Pass IPC-A-610 Modules:  1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & 8
• Pass IPC 7711/7721
• Pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.
• Must have previous electronic manufacturing experience.
• Familiar with ESD and Board Handling requirements

Pay: $24 - $28/hr., depending on experience. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am -4:00 pm
