A busy medical practice is seeking to hire a medical AR specialist.

In this role, you are responsible for handling billing, insurance claims, and addressing patient inquiries related to account balances. The position requires a strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance policies, and excellent communication skills.

Schedule is M-F 8am to 5pm. $19/hr to start.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Manage medical accounts receivable, including billing, payments, and reconciliations.
Follow up on outstanding claims and denials with insurance companies and patients.
Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes promptly.
Post payments and adjustments accurately to patient accounts.
Generate reports to track accounts receivable performance.
Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on insurance regulations and coding guidelines.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of medical billing and accounts receivable experience.
Proficiency in medical billing software and coding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
