MIG Welder/Fitter: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a welding and fabricating role or education/trade school hands-on learning experience or an AAS in welding technology, certification is a plus but not required.
Duties:

• Proficient in preparing weldments for assembly into structural fabricated products.
• Capable of achieving top-notch weld quality and maximum strength across a variety of metal sizes, while minimizing distortion.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and weld symbols is essential 
• Skilled in operating 0.45, 0.52, and 1/16 wire.
• Basic proficiency in mathematics is required.
• Knowledge of jib and overhead cranes preferred.
• Able to fit from blueprints with or without fixtures.
• Competent in planning welding projects from inception to completion, handling diverse metal sizes.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Versatility in working across multiple product lines 
• Mandatory use of steel-toed boots and metatarsal guards.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 1+ years of Welding experience, MIG 045 experience preferred.
• 1/2 inch or thicker raw steel knowledge
• Experience reading blueprints/ schematics.
• Experience in an industrial work environment.
• Ability to understand and interpret welding symbols.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Ability to hear, read and speak English.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 lbs.

Pay: $23-$28/hr. depending on the weld test and shift differential ($1.25)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1am  

Safety Gear Required: 
Steel-toed boots, metatarsal guards, and long pants will be required, and shirts must cover your shoulders.
Anyone who does not comply with the dress code will be sent home.

Fabricator and TIG Welder:

Duties: 

• Fabricate, assemble, and TIG weld and finish associated stainless steel equipment and components from blueprints, sketches, and grinding.
• Work to gain knowledge and new techniques to improve and increase productivity.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
• Actively participate in the safety program.
• Cross-train into other areas and job functions as needed.
• Willing to assist in other areas as needed.
• Using a forklift to move materials for production.
• Using drill motors, cutoff saws, grinders, drill press, tapping tools, belt sanders, and hand tools.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED
• Commitment to reliable and punctual attendance
• Ability to follow written work instructions and blueprints.
• Take directions and follow SOP's.
• Working knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math calculations for measurements to ensure proper tolerances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain physically active throughout their shift.
• 6 months to 1-year experience with forklifts is PREFERRED.
• 2+ years or more TIG welding experience REQUIRED.

Pay:
$23-$25/hr, one or more years experience in TIG Welding and Fabrication
$30+/hr. with 5+ years of TIG welding and fabrication, coupled with demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of longevity in previous positions.

Schedule: 
Monday – Thursday, 5 AM – 3:30 PM
OR
Monday - Friday, 5 am-1:30 pm, right now there is no OT but when they get into their busy season OT is required.
