Bilingual Office Administrator

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
Our exclusive and growing client, a commercial lighting agency, is currently looking for a confident and well-spoken Bilingual Office Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
***This is a fully in-office position (not hybrid / remote).***

Required skills and qualifications:
- Must be fluently bilingual (English and French)
- 2-3 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Coordinator
- Must have in-depth knowledge of various software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Technically and technologically competent, especially with electronic and virtual meeting platforms
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and discretion; maintain confidentiality, be respectful and diplomatic
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong prioritizing and multi-tasking; adaptability to changing priorities
- Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Strong analytical thinking, judgment, and problem solving skills
- Must be flexible and adaptable – this is not a structed position and will have some undefined responsibilities
Duties may include but are limited to:
- Maintain and manage office supplies and food/fridge
- Coordinate team and client appreciation events/retreats
- Arrange all logistics for meetings/events including catering
- Arrange e-mails and out of offices
- Assist various departments (accounting / human resources / project management) as required
- Complete data entry into various spreadsheets to maintain accurate records/information
- General office support (Filing, scanning, etc.)
- Being the bridge between business units and departments
- Assist the Executive Assistant with administrative support and being a back-up to them during their absences
- Other office duties as assigned
Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 4:30pm
Friday – 9:00am to 3:30pm
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year depending on experience
Location: West end
