Application Engineer-Apprentice Opportunity

• This is a DIRECT HIRE Application Engineer/Apprentice opportunity for Indianapolis manufacturer of custom machinery that has been in business for over 65 years. Their machines service the Food & Beverage, Personal Care and Pharmaceutical industries. etc.  
• The primary function is to collect and analyze the data and estimate from a similar project or create for a new project required to manufacture our systems
• Identify tooling techniques, such as estimated labor and materials.
• Work in conjunction with the Engineering Group and Sales Group to determine the correct approaches to manufacture machinery.

Pay/Benefits:

• $55-$60K based upon experience

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate has Engineering Degree or 2+yrs of Mechanical experience.
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of the technical requirements of the industry
• Basic computer knowledge including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must have a valid drivers’ license with Real ID, or current passport (or the ability to obtain a passport) and authorization to work in the United States
