Assembly Technician

Located in Ottawa, ON

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00

Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company located near Hunt Club and Prince of Wales, is currently looking for two Assembly Technicians to join their team on a contact basis from mid-April to the end of July.  

 

Required skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar position considered an asset
• Comfortable using a variety of tools (basic hand tools as well as an impact gun)
• Good hand / eye coordination
• Comfortable with repetitive work
• Takes initiative and can work well independently
• Completion of post-secondary school in a related field is an asset

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Put together pre-assembled parts using nuts and bolts
• Count and package parts
• Perform quality control checks
• Use of basic hand tools to assemble parts
• Shipping and receiving products
• Lift up to 40lbs
• Maintain a clean station and warehouse
• May be required to perform other duties not listed above

 

The wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience. 

Monday – Friday – 7:00am to 3:30pm
