Salary: $21.20/HR

Express is looking for Power Testers for a well-established company in Canonsburg, PA. Job entails performing testing on Power Transformers and components. $21.20 per hour.  Evaluation to hire, with an opportunity for a pay increase, benefit package and the potential for a union position, once hired on by the client!

 

Job Duties Include:

• Reading daily schedules to meet production demand
• Calibrate and repair test equipment
• Cross-training and adhering to product development standard
• Operate machinery to test coils as needed
• Inspect coils during testing to ensure conformances
• Calculating test results to determine if product acceptance or rejection
• Independently completing documentation and calculations involved with the wire testing.
• Assisting and training new testers as needed
• Completing minor repairs to test equipment
• Quality Control check during final stages
• Keep the work area safe, neat, and clean

Qualifications:

 

• Must have some schooling in electrical applications and knowledge of appropriate industry standards such as IEEE and IEC
• Ability to pass basic math exam
• Willing to work in all elements
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to all OSHA guidelines
• Adhere to all housekeeping and safety standards, including the required use of personal equipment (PPE).
• Competency in using electric calculators and data entry.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

 

Pay: $21.20/HR
