As an Asphalt Laborer, you'll be involved in every stage of the paving process, from preparing the site to delivering top-notch results. Your responsibilities will include transporting equipment, measuring and lining out areas for paving, directing traffic, and ensuring the work area is clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Preparation: Assist in offloading trucks and gathering tools, ensuring everything is ready for the day's work.
2. Equipment Management: Transport essential tools and equipment to the job site, including rakes, shovels, and spray cans, to support seamless operations.
3. Site Preparation: Set up the pavement saw, measure and line out areas for paving, and create launchpads for the paver to ensure precise execution.
4. Safety and Traffic Control: Act as a flagger to direct motorists away from the work zone, maintaining a safe environment for all.
5. Material Handling: Transport water to rollers and compactors, assist the screed operator, and shovel materials as needed to facilitate smooth paving.
6. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the team, providing assistance to fellow laborers and operators to optimize productivity and achieve exceptional results.
7. Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the day, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored at the end of each shift.
