Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Red Seal Industrial Electrician to join our client’s established but growing team in Dartmouth. Our client is family run and has been in business for 93 years and they have been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. This position would suit someone who is Red Seal certified as an Industrial Electrician and has experience working in a manufacturing environment.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Be responsible for day-to-day electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment

 

Requirements:

 

·         Red Seal, Licensed Industrial Electrician

·         Experience working in a manufacturing environment

·         Experience working with AC/DC drives, PLC and motor control circuits

·         Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

·         A mechanical background in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication will be considered an asset

·         The ability to lift up to 50 pounds

·         Rotating shift work. Day shift (7:00am-3:00pm), evening shift (3:00pm-11:00pm), or night shift (11pm-7:00am)
