Salary: $35-$40 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Millwright to join our client’s established team in Dartmouth. Our client is a leading provider of industrial, commercial, and residential scaffolding systems and construction equipment. Experience in repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment is essential for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Inspect, repair and maintain industrial machinery and equipment such as crushing, screening and paving equipment

·         Repair and maintain shop machinery

·         Troubleshoot and problem solve mechanical issues

·         Splitting your time between the shop and the field, with some local and out-of-province travel required

 

Requirements:

 

·         Previous experience as millwright, ideally 2-3 years in a similar environment

·         A red seal license would be considered an asset

·         Strong communication skills

·         Customer service and client handling experience

·         Basic computer skills for completing paperwork and timecards

·         The ability to lift 50lbs continuously and to be able to bend, stoop and crouch

·         A positive attitude and willingness to learn

·         Valid class 5 license, and clean abstract

·         A clean background check
