Salary: $20.00+ DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking candidates interested in a Pest Control Technician position. Previous experience is beneficial and entry level is available as well. This is a permanent, full time, first shift position. Pay is $20 - $23+ DOE. Overtime available. Busy season from Spring - Fall.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform pest management for insects, rodents, wildlife and birds.

• Handle pesticides according to label, law and training standards

• Maintain NYS Pesticide Technician/Applicator’s license.

• Required to wear PPE including full face respiratory protection.

• Operate and maintain all application equipment safely and according to law.

• Drive and maintain company vehicles and keep a clean NYS Drivers License.

• Required to handle live and dead animals as well as their feces and urine.

Work Requirements:

• Required to enter attics and crawl spaces.

• Required to work on a ladder, lifts and roofs.

• Required to euthanize insects and animals.

• Required to wear PPE including full face respiratory protection.

• Maintain courses, exams, and licensing through Department of Environmental Conservation.
